Château Douzillac
VINEYARD
- Region : Red Bordeaux AOC – Coasts of Bourg
- Surface : Around 8 Ha on 45 Ha of « Vignobles Plaisance »
- Sol : Clay mixed with fragmented limestone
- Vines : 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon & 10% Malbec.
- Cultural Method : Driven in “reasoned culture”, cut simple and double guyot, with grass a row on two.
VINIFICATION
- Maceration : Cold maceration before fermentation.
- Fermentation : Fermentation in Thermo-regulated tanks, soft cuvaison during approximately 3 weeks.
- Growing : In oak barrels.
- Oenologist : Mickaël Bruneteau.

- Gold Medal in Gilbert & Gaillard 2015
TASTING NOTES
- Deep red color.
- Beautiful nose, with flavors of red berries, and toasted wooded one.
- Round and elegant, beautiful length.
